Who I am
CHRISTOPHER SMITH, LICSW, MSW
My name is Chris Smith, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping neurodivergent individuals, parents of neurodivergent children, and couples navigate life’s unique challenges. Through a combination of practical guidance, deep empathy, and personal experience, I provide coaching and counseling that supports authentic self-expression and personal growth.
I believe that neurodivergence is not a limitation—it is a strength. If you have ever felt misunderstood, pressured to conform, or disconnected from yourself or others, I can help you break free from societal conditioning, build confidence, and create more fulfilling relationships. Whether you are an individual seeking personal clarity, a parent looking for support, or a couple working through communication differences, I am here to guide you.
Coaching & Counseling for Neurodivergent Individuals:
If you are neurodivergent and struggling with self-doubt, masking, or societal expectations, I provide a space where you can explore your true self. Together, we will work on building confidence, navigating challenges, and embracing your unique way of thinking.
Support for Parents of Neurodivergent Children:
Parenting a neurodivergent child can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I help parents understand their child’s needs, build stronger connections, and develop strategies that honor their child’s strengths while addressing challenges with patience and insight.
Couples Coaching for Neurodivergent & Neurotypical Relationships:
Relationships between neurodivergent and neurotypical partners can bring unique communication and emotional processing differences. I help couples bridge these gaps, improve understanding, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships built on mutual respect and connection.
Consulting for Schools & Social Programs:
Schools and social services often struggle to create environments that truly support neurodivergent individuals. I provide expert consulting to educators, social workers, and program coordinators, helping them design inclusive systems that foster understanding, accessibility, and meaningful support.
Turning Emotional Struggles into Personal Growth:
If you feel stuck in limiting beliefs, frustration, or internalized self-doubt, I can help you shift these experiences into motivation, self-discovery, and personal empowerment. Together, we will work on finding clarity, purpose, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
